  24. I'm not really sure how to interpret this question. There is only one
  25. "version" of LightWave. It is recompiled or adapted to suit the requirements
  26. of each particluar platform.

  28. For example, the Amiga version can not support openGL, so those features are
  29. "removed" from the code before compiling. As I understand it, the difference
  30. between all the Windows NT "versions" is that the compiler must be told which
  31. platform to compile the .exe for. The differences appear at the hardware
  32. level, like what sort of alignment is used and storage byte order.
